I have been a frequent visitor to the store here in Milton, Wa., often spending in excess of $40 in one shopping trip. I have even ordered from their online service. About 2 weeks ago I was as usual popping in for one item, and ended up with many one items! Heading toward the check out I and another customer stopped at the last aisle endcap before the check outs, I grabbed a clear finger nail polish from the bottom or deck of the endcap. At this time several bottles of polish from the top shelf tumbled down onto the floor, one a dark maroon in color broke, and it splashed onto my lower pant led and sandal, and of course my pants were a new pair of white jeans. The store attendants heard the noise and went into clean up mode. One of the customers said to me that the store should cover the cost of my pants, and then as I was waiting in line to check out more polish fell from the endcap as customers shopped. The store attendant caught my gaze and proceeded to tell me that she would inform the store manager Jeff, and he would call me. Well, He never did call me, and a few days later I went in to speak to him. He informed me that there was nothing he could do at store level, it had to go up to corporate, for $10 meesly $’s, he was waiting to hear from them. I came back a week later and he gave me a phone # to call. I am pretty much DONE with $ Tree, so much for customer loyalty! Having been in customer service myself for 25 years. Dollar Tree in Milton Wa. 98354 has lost a loyal customer! Even tho it is 5 minutes from my house I will go else where.
